i discovered the smiths years ago, and just hearing morriseys droaning voice and lyrics such as 'and if a double decker bus should kill the both of us, to die by your side, what a heavenly way to die' make me really, really happy and feel that i can get through my day.
everyone i know cannot stand a bit of mozza, put i suppose i have a bit of smiths passion :P.
i'm seventeen. this better be normal.

    Oh yeah, me too! I love post-punk/shoegaze bands with depressing music. Hearing it makes life worth living. I love the Smiths, Lush, Cocteau Twins, and the Jesus and Mary Chain.

    I think it's normal :) I love depressing musc. I listen to bring me the horizon, some of their lyrics are quite depressing. "you got a mouth like a razor blade, it cuts so deep. so kiss my wrists, kiss my neck and give me eternal sleep.."

    Alot of times we don't choose the music we want to listen to...our mood does...basicly you listen to music that matches the way you feel...I'm the same way with my music...there's nothing better than listening to a song and knowing that someone else out there feels the way u do...your 100% normal
