Hiya there, I was wondering if it was normal to love argueing in a fetish sort of way. I am in college and in one of my classes there was this guy. (average looks, kind of sexy in a weird sort of way) Now we were common on many different topics, and it was one of the only people I could relate to. Recently he moved away, the thing was, we would argue all the time!

I really miss him for some reason, and many times I wish I had been nicer. We were kind to each other at times, we exchanged stuff like email addresses and the name of our spore accounts and stuff like that.

For one, any advice and two, Is this normal?

    I used to love arguing and was really good at it. Then I started reading about unconditional love and thought I shouldn't be arguing with people. I stopped being able to give quick pithy retorts and ended up feeling shafted. the knowledge that I was supposedly acting in a better way didn't really compensate for the feeling of being disrespected. I don't like arguing anymore because it seems like a waste of energy. I wish people were less competitive but it is a pointless wish. People are only likely to become more competitive in the future unless we all get the expanded consciousness thing...

    Humans crave Arguments and violence just like sex. Our instincts tell us the best way to keep the respect of others is too argue, and we all want dominance over others. It's all part of our ancient primal instincts.

    There was a girl who terrorized my group of friends and I. she'd have these ridiculous insults like,"well at least I'm not a fat pig-cunt, motherfucker!", and all of us enjoyed arguing with her. so yes, you are normal.
