I love animals but i also love happy tree friends

I have always loved animals quite a bit, and actual animal cruelty makes me sick to the stomach (as with actual human abuse). However, Happy Tree Friends makes me laugh quite a bit. It's amusing seeing cute, cuddly things die in horrendous ways, only to return the next episode and die again. The only exceptions were the episodes "Out On A Limb" and "Read Em and Weep" (not even I could stomach them). It's not so much the suffering that makes me laugh, but the intense irony. I also laugh sometimes at seeing cartoon humans die horrible deaths.

Anyways, is it normal that I'm an animal lover but I love Happy Tree Friends too?

    I don't see why not. Besides, it's not like some human is abusing those animals in the show.
