I love african american women

After so many attempts dating women of the same race, I’ve called it quits. I’ve always liked African American women. For some reason they are just nicer to me and always have a great sense of humor. Thinking it would be frowned upon among my friends and maybe even my family, I never pursued a female that was African American. I’ve also heard this can work both ways.. well put all that aside. I don’t care what people think anymore to be honest. I really think they are nice people and I have never been the kind of person to judge a person by the color of their skin. I’ve recently gone out with a few women who were black and I have to say, they were awesome! Not looking for anything serious, but I’ve developed many great friendships with potential to be more. Have you ever dated or married someone of another race/nationality-culture? How was it? How did both families react to it? That is probably the hardest thing to deal with. At the end of the day though, it’s what makes you truly happy.

I once knew this guy who said it best -
"I do not discriminate, I just penetrate".

It's normal to be attracted to black women, and want to date a black woman if that's what you are attracted to, OP. It's normal to have a type, and a preference.

It's preference and who you get along with.
    Who makes you happy,
who you want to be with at the end of the day.
If your family etc cares more about their own feelings then your happiness?
How much do they really care about you?
I've known good and bad of each race I've known.

You’re are right about that! I have too... I know it’s more about the person. Coincidentally, African American women just seem to be nicer and love to laugh and enjoy life

I think there are nice, fun and not nice, not fun people of all types, races and nationalities. But if in your experience, you’re finding more women you like among the African American women you know, go for it. Screw what others think.

When I was on Match.com, I was open to women of any race. I cared about finding the right person, not about race. At this point in my life, I could care less about what narrow-minded people think about my choice for a mate. What’s important is if she and I are happy.

I was disowned by my family for marrying an African man. His family likes me.

I say go for it and fuck what other people think. They don't have to live with the choices they try to make for you. you do. I didn't regret my choice.

"once you've tryed black you won't go back"

As you say, who we choose to spend our time with should be a choice we're free to make.

However, you're stereotyping if you believe all people of a certain skin tone are nicer than those of any other shade, and contrary to what you say, you are judging people by the colour of their skin. You may be flipping the prejudice from its most common form, but you're still being racist.

There are people (guys, mainly) who have a fetish for women of a certain skin colour. Fetishes always objectify some aspect of the other person. Whether it's breasts, feet, hair, hands, skin-colour or whatever, the fetishist focuses on that particular aspect rather than seeing the other person as a fully rounded human being.

How is anything I said come out as racist? I’ve dated my share of white, Hispanic, and found that African American women are more down to earth and attractive in many ways beyond the physical.
