I live in a hot country and hate it

I am from the Maldives and hate the sticky heat. I dont get why people love the sunny beaches and the heat. I much prefer the rainy season when its cooler. Its always 30 to 33 Degree Celsius here in the Maldives and even in the coldest monsoons it only goes below to 25 Degree Celsius. I just want to move to a place its very cold like Russia or Alaska.

ROFL - perfectly normal to want to live somewhere the temperature is more to your perceived liking. I say perceived because I guarantee as soon as the temperature dropped to like -25c like it does in Russia and Alaska in the winter, you'd be packing your stuff up to move back home (or at least somewhere more temperate)

I bet you you will be tired of the cold weather in mostly a year or tow, i used to live in north africa and i moved to ny 4 years ago and i was so happy and excited becaouse i'll see the snow and live in a cold state( i used to be a winter person), now i'am thinking to move to the south becaouse i am tired of the cold weather.
Maldives is one of the places that i really wanna visit tho

    • I just want to see the snow and enjoy it, maybe all winter is bad but i heard in New York they have 4 seasons year round.

If you are thinking of Maldives you should visit the maldives in the off season. Now we are having the off season and the rates are lower now. To be honest i am from the city and havent been around much. Last week i visited a resort for the first time in my life and was amazed to see everything there. The resort was very nice, the service was excellent, the lagoon so blue and there were large so many large fish such as sharks, sting rays, jacks just swimming below our water villa. Previously i never would have guessed it was like that and only thought those were just made of advertisements and promotions. Now i get the picture.

Stop moaning about nothing, I live in Sunny South Africa, in the Kalahari and our ambient temperature in the summer is between 40 and 45 degrees centigrade average, in the winter the coldest temperature is -5 degrees in the early morning and by 10h00 am it is 25 degrees again!
