I like to fart on my dog

Whenever I'm near my dog and feel I need to fart, I pull my pants down and fart on my dog. Is this normal?

    i would cut your loved ones head off with a sword and attach it to various animals that i ride around the ranch with my hulk brothers.

    Why would you do that? You know that dogs have a much stronger sense of smell than humans do, right? So a fart would probably smell twice as bad to them.
