I like to eat 'healthy' stuff when hungry

I'm trying to eat healthy at the moment, I workout for about 30 minutes a day... and after my workout i eat 2 egg whites (hard boiled)i drink 2 cups off milk and usually up to 3 bottles of water and when I'm hungry and want junk food, I force myself to make a sandwich with, Light thin shaved ham, light thin cheese slices, a little bit of yellow American Mustard on rye bread... I mostly eat this for the protein but is it really healthy? I need real, professional opinions please!!

Coming from A certified Wellness Coach ane Personal Trainer- It's not too bad. A lot of people don't do well with gluten, which is found in bread, but some can tolerate it.

If you don't already, aim to get nitrate/hormone free ham- It's easier on your kidneys.

You should be consuming .5-1 oz. Of water per pound of body weight, and adding another 6-12 ounces per 15 minutes of exercise depending on the amount you sweat.

It doesn't seem like your getting enough raw fruits and vegetables, so I would add more of those In to your diet. They will keep you fuller longer, and nourish your body.

If you have anymore questions, just let me know. :)

I'm not an expert on food, but I would suggest increasing your workout time from 30 mins to an hour, unless you lead a pretty active life.

I forgot to add, my BMI is 22.0 (normal for my age)

    • I think you should workout an hour 4 times a week and not every day.

Um and thats not all i eat, for dinner
I eat foods with iron and protein, steamed veggies but sometimes i like to change it around but just to be obvious... That id not all i eat, i also work out for that time doing intermediate workouts and 110+ sit-ups and 30+ pushups and i do live a healthy lifestyle, but i am only doing all this to build my muscles especially my abs :)
