I don't know why, but I really like the smell of gasoline, but everyone else I know hates it. I try not to breathe it in because it's harmful and stuff, but it smells really good! Is it normal?
It is nice to an extent. I used to love it as a child, but now, it gives me headaches.
Gasoline to me is like.....security. Smell that smell and I know I'm putting miles in my car. Miles to get out and go somewhere new.
It's all a matter of taste. Personally I prefer the smell of flowers, but then I may be weird.
I also LOVE the smell of gas. When I was a teen, I enjoyed filling the tank so I could smell that smell, but then they determined that the fumes were seriously carcinogenic. I took "them" at their word, because nothing that smells that good could possibly be good for you!
As we age, "they" slowly whittle away at all the good things in life, and if we want to live past tomorrow morning, we'd better not do this or eat that!
My son loves it too. I hope he never huff chemicals...
Theres a perfume called Shalimar it has a gasoline undertone, try it you might like it.
I also used to like it as a kid but not really anymore, guess I outgrew it. I always thought this was a strange thing but then I've heard others say they liked it too.
Yeah, it smells nice. I'm a car guy, so most car fluids and smells (apart from exhaust fumes, clutch & few others) smell nice.
Sure it's bad for your health, but an occasional whiff when filling up can't be that bad.
I love the smell. Did even more as a kid, but now health effects offset the joy.
