and they are living healthy productive lives

Hey my father raised me while he was high and I turned out just fine. Just be good hearted and dont forget to feed him, because we all make mistakes high or sober. This should not pose as a threat to parenting.

Ok so the real deal is POT can be lots of fun and very stress relieving and in some ways beneficial to one's health if not abused.

BUT doing too much will damage your brain and memory. It will send you into deep emotional unbalanced states of depression and eventually will really fuck your life up where you can't even remember what you were thinking/talking about.

Even the simplest things like finding your keys will drive you crazy and make you feel incredibly frustrated with yourself and make you feel stupid. Your family and friends will learn to hate you because dealing with you is beyond frustrating.

It will most likely be a gateway drug into more serious drugs.

I've seen it happen to many friends growing up and their lives are pretty fucked up now.

Marijuana is as bad for your kid as it is for you. Stop, even if it's for your kid. Second hand smoke will rise your kids chance of lung cancer tenfold.

Just don't smoke around the kid, second hand smoke isn't good for them.

wtf people, smoking weed and then looking after children is totally normal. my parents never laid a hand on me or yelled at me and it's because they were so calm from smoking weed. it just makes you more fun for the kid.. you don't get annoyed as easily. i smoke pot while i'm babysitting all the time (not in front of the kids obviously, just when they're pre-occupied with eating or when they're sleeping). They fucking love me because I'm nice. It just makes it easier to pretend like you're 5 :P there's nothing wrong with that!
