So I'm a senior in high school and I have been very into my gym teacher since he arrived two years ago. Normally I wouldn't think anything about a little crush but lately I've been having dreams about us being together and falling in love, kind of making me think I have a little more than a crush. Recently in class, he's been talking to me a lot, about anything, and pays a it more attention to me then usual. He's also brought me aside to talk leading me with his hand on my back. Maybe I'm thinking too much into it, but I've had a feeling that he might be into me too. We always catch each other staring at each other in class. I'm of age and he's only 24 and I'm graduating in a month but he is my teacher. Is this normal? Is there something I should or shouldn't do?

    He may very well like you the way you like him.. but he has a career and life. That will be over if you two do anything.

    Wait until you graduate, maybe stay in touch and see if something develops down the road. If you two really do have something, then a little time is nothing.

    The potential for stuff to go really wrong is really high right now.

      You're right. I'm definitely going to wait, we only have about a month and a half left anyways. I'll just learn how to deal with the tension without acting on it. Ruining his career is the last thing I an I do.

    Go to google and research high school teachers that have had affairs with high school students. In most cases they are punished and not permitted to ever teach again. It's ai clear violation. My suggestion would be to stop it. What you do after you finish high school may be a different story.

    Don't even think about it. I'm a teacher and know how illegal it is. And morally wrong.
    He should've never thought about you in that way. Period. Just because he didn't do anything physical doesn't mean he wasn't thinking about it.
    Is he waiting until the day after graduation to have a physical relationship with you????? You haven't even had a real relationship with him.
    Go to college and meet guys who are going to want to date you and get to know you over time. You can't know someone just from gazing at each other over a desk or passing in the hall.
    Don't be impressed that he is older. A man who ACTS his age wouldn't act like he does.

    I say it's normal. The age gap isn't too bad and you said it's legal (just wait that one month before you try anything)
