I like making myself upset?

Title says it all really.
I like to think myself into getting upset to the point of crying because it makes me feel better afterwards. The other day I sat in my room and imagined that my life was a coma and when I woke up everything I loved didn't exist. After I get upset and cry I feel better afterwards and I love the feeling I get from it. (note: I don't do this in front of people for attention. I do this when I'm alone in my house.)

    You sound depressed. You sound like you're depressed about something in your life but you don't have the words to describe it so you make up situations that are also said and probably similar to your life so you can indirectly mourn and cry about what ever it is that's bothering you. Try to find where all this depression is coming from and consider talking to a therapist would be my advice.

    I do that too. I purposefully find sad stories or movies or whatever to try and make myself cry. I feel a lot better afterwards too; I guess it's just nice to have a good cry every so often, even if I'm not actually upset about anything going on in my life

    If you like that you should try stomping on nails and pouring dirt in your eyes. When the pain goes away you'll feel loads better.
