I feel the same way. I need something wrong with myself because I can't stand the thought of being happy.
I'm going thru depression myself. Somedays I have a reason to be sad but most of the time I don't and I also want something bad to happen to me so a can have a freaken reason to be sad!
That isn't normal but it sounds like you just need some attention. And I dont mean that in a bad way! You might just really need someone to truely love you and pay attention to you. I went thru this and my boyfriend who introduced me to a ton of awesome friends and who is also awesome pulled me out of this funk. I have never told anyone I felt that way because it doesn't matter anymore. Hopefully that helps! That or you need to win an award. That helped me too (piano award) the applause was exhilerating!
Never wish bad things upon yourself.
You might get what you wish for,
and I GUARANTEE it will not satisfy you.
It will pain you.
Haunt you.
Make you feel responsible.
Please, only positive thinking.
Yes it is normal, but you shouldn't do it. Just do things in life that can make you happy; happy enough so that you prefer this happiness to the sadness.
well it depends on what ur definition of normal is, who says feeling sad isn't normal?
NO ONE needs to hurt themselves!!!
Being sad is completely normal.
You do not need to be thinking suicidal thoughts.
It's not alright to feel "sorry for yourself" either.
The world owes you nothing.
You're born into it, you deal with "life" and then someday, far enough away, death will find you. You don't go looking for it, okay?
I used to listen to Bright Eyes and Brand New and just cry to let out my feelings. There are healthier ways, artistic expression, writing, singing, athletic. Find something that excites you and get involved.
Find friends who listen to the music I mentioned, Bright Eyes and Brand New, buddy. These people are sad too, and they're usually not afraid to talk about it. When you're able to physically experience another persons sadness, it helps you deal with your own.
Life is about balancing and finding symmetry and understanding people and experiences. Sadness and depression and sorrow and woe are just one part of the spectrum of life.
Don't rob yourself of the happiness that awaits you.
