I laugh at holocaust jokes, but i'm jewish.

Kind of self-explanatory. Is like when a fat person laughs at funny comments about their weight, or it's something far more serious?

I used to work with Israelis. Holocaust jokes were a favorite activity. We only had to stop after hiring a German guy, because it would have gotten weird. It's strange, but I think it's normal.

Yeah I'm Jewish and I make all kinds of Jewish jokes. For me it is funny just because of how ridiculous some people's beliefs are. I've always wanted to ring a synagogue and say I've got some questions for Satan and I figured they would know how to get in touch.

Two of my grandparents died last year and I still laugh at jokes involving dead grandparents. The holocaust is more serious, but also more distant. I don't know which of us is more messed up in the head.

Gallows humor is pretty pervasive in Jewish circles, in my limited experience. Seen any stand-up comedy lately? The comedian was probably Jewish. You just can't suffer that much and still take life seriously.

Same. My whole family is jewish and we cracked up at this (but tried not to) :
So hitler is on the roof of his house with jewish prisoners.

He turns to one of the prisoners and says, "You! Jump like this, with your arms this way."

The jew jumps off the roof and breaks all his bones.

He turns to another one, "You! Curl up into a ball, and jump right next to him."

The jew jumps off the roof and breaks all his bones.

    "And now you..."

Hitler's wife is calling from inside... "Adolf! Dinner!"

"Awww, but I didn't even get to tetris yet!"
