I keep random little silly things secret about myself, things that carry no heavy implication, but have no problem telling close people VERY intimate things about me, just for the sake of having things that are JUST FOR ME. IE I'll tell people my favorite color is blue when it's really green, or that I prefer evening when I'm TOTALLY a morning person, etc. It's seriously a thing with me.

    To me this sounds very strange. Like a "light" form of pathological lying. Your friends probably know, and hate, that you lie to them all the time.

    it's normal!

    I do it all the time.
    I keep my secrets and personal life to myself.
    This is also good, you need to practise this, because there are some people in life you don't trust, who are not royal and who may betray you in life.

    So not telling people your full story about yourself is important.

    I do this a lot too! I don't do it to close friends though. But be careful what you say. The wrong words could drop out of your mouth sometimes.
