How amusing: someone who claims they're upset when others don't conform to convention, and yet they don't capitalise the first letter of their sentences, use "u" instead of "you", and do the additional thumb-flicks necessary to capitalise that letter.
To a tiny extent, I sorta get what you're saying. Every auto-correct I've ever used automatically capitalises the letter "i" if there's a space before and after, so I guess people have to deliberately change that back to lower case. I suppose it's possible that might say something about their self-esteem, but they could also believe that capitalisation makes them look self-centred or something.
