No. You're male, you don't have emotions. :) I wish society was more accepting of men showing their feelings. It's unhealthy to bottle them all up and hide them. It's inevitable that they're eventually going to come out, in one way or another.

Real men do not cry! The ideals of the Roman empire. The women did not cry either! Viva la Rome!

It's normal. Guys usually don't do this stuff like women do though, so I suspect you must have already been sad over something. For example, if you watched a movie where an elderly person died and it made you think of a grandparent you lost, the emotional reaction would be understandably triggered.

I hope you feel better soon. It is no fun to be sad.

I feel tears coming on during some movies/books because of that sometimes. I then quickly smother those feelings in a blanket of rejection.

it depends what movie were you watching, if it's emmy/academy award worthy movie then i think it should be fine, if you're a guy crying to twilight, then you need help.

What on earth is wrong with people these days? Oh yea it's OK to cry if you're a man. NOOO!!! IT'S NOT OK!! Other men won't respect you, women won't respect you. If you're a man cry by yourself. IT'S FUCKING PATHETIC!!

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • It's the society we now live in, where a man feels like he is not normal for crying, because society doesn't expect them to show emotion.

If I saw my husband crying in a movie, I would find it incredibly poignant. It shows what an empathetic, sensitive, beautiful soul you are. I want you to celebrate that.

Of course it's normal! Personally, I think it's very attractive when a guy isn't afraid to be in touch with his emotions and isn't afraid to cry. He might be male, but he is human... lol

I cried when I was finished with that epic masterpiece, Butt Babes 11, but then I found out there were like 23 sequels.
