    Yes, it's normal to wear them as long as it's not in the summer because then you'd be risking your health with dehydration or heat exhaustion.

      They're thick pants that are meant to keep a person warm in cold weather. I wear them when I have to shovel snow.

    It's normal if you're going in the snow. It's not normal if you're in a desert. Not sure what age has to do with it.
