I'm a man in my 30's and have not had much sex or dating experience. It's almost been 4 years since I've had any sexual activity or a girlfriend. I go to bars and clubs often and ask girls out but I often get stood up. I get out of the house almost daily but I would like to improve my social skills.

Of course, if you are only interested in 'girls' and not women, then I guess you can waste your time in bars and clubs until one is so drunk and fucked up she doesn't care who she ends up with, though that doesn't seem to have worked out too well over the past 4 years for you.

Well, dude, in my opinion masturbation is in the "sexual activity" category because physically the motion just mimics sexual intercourse. It could be counted as sex - with yourself if you've ever done in the those past four years. I ain't sure about the psychological effects of sex, though.
