Last night he came over to explain some of his indecent behaviour. He had spoken very harshly to me the day before... several curse words and I felt like someone had driven a spear through my heart (in fact I feel like it's still there even though he has apologized)

Anyway we were speaking in the garden outside and I had visions of myself with a huge shovel in my hand digging his grave and pushing him inside alive...

    OMG! As long as you don't actually do it, it's fine.
    Tell him what you wrote. That you still feel bad about it and work it together

    It's normal to be angry with him and imagine getting sweet revenge. But it's a whole other story when you act on them. Just wait until you calm down and make up with him, and you'll stop thinking of murder.

    I think it's time to ask yourself if he's worth it. Tell him if he cannot control his anger, you will leave him. If he does not want to change, he does not love you enough to change so you can be happy, therefore, he is not worth it. Find someone who loves you enough to do whatever they can for you.
