I have so many fears! what do i do.

I've got the fear of germs, fear of dirt, fear of electricity, fear of torture, fear of too much light, fear of public groups, fear of being touched, fear of looking at moving things, fear or dirty/wripped tisue/paper/toilet roll. What do I do with all these abnormal approaches of fears?

  • Urg, let me help you by being blunt.

STOP BEING A PUSSY AND CARING ABOUT LITTLE SHIT THAT ODDS ARE CAN'T OR WON'T HURT YOU.

-unless you are what you eat of course.
    ---------------------

All seriously though, if you break down the statistics of what could go wrong with what does go wrong, the percent is extremely low. Worrying about little things or stuff that is rather mundane is just a huge time waster.

Just think of all the time you have wasted worrring about trivial crap and what it has caused you in your life. If you are afraid of little things, are you happy with your relationships that you have had or have you even been in one? What about the fun a person gets out of just being stupid, have you done anything stupid that would make a great story LATER in life?

Please just realise that the little things won't kill you and if it embarrasses you to have toliet paper on your shoe instead of the trash can, are you going to die from it? Honestly?
    -------------
Lastly, we are around germs and bacteria all of the time. We are covered in extremely small bugs all of the time and we BREATE in poop with every breath when we breathe (Dust mite poop.)

This is what the immune system is for, it protects us from stuff and the truth is, the more you are sick and exposed to this stuff, the better off your immune system will be when it truly is needed. It is called building up your immunities and it works even if you are not immune to a particular virus; your body is stronger in taking out that germ and you may not get sick.

Lastly, if you are truly afraid of life, will you be happy when you are 85 years old on your death bed? I doubt it, so go out and take some risks and stuff and enjoy life. Just don't be stupid.

If you have all these fears, how do you go about living from day to day !? Do you just sit at home like a hermit not touching anything ? Weird!

  • See a psychologist. Living with all that fear and anxiety must be debilitating.

That's a lot of irrational fears. I'm even surprised that you haven't thinking of go see a therapist.
