I have probably the strangest complaint. iin?

Whenever I work out, I gain massive muscles. I can gain in one week what it takes others months to do, IF they can even do it at all, and I have awesome body type and structure. I'm tall and have great bone structure.

That's all fine and good but I don't want this!! I just want to be toned, not look like a body builder!! I've tried everything, different workouts, low intensity, you name it, nothing helps.

I literally pack on the muscles within days of working out.

Should I just go with it and become a boxer or something? I LOVE working out so I don't want to stop. And I HATE running, so that's out of the question.

I'm a female, btw, so it sort of matters more than if I were a dude.

IIN?

First of all, I think it's hot. But then, I'm into guys, so please take my opinion when it comes to professional matters only.

    Now, regarding the latter:

I'm not a huge fan of this classification, but let's assume you're a mesomorph (natural predisposition for athleticism).

You'll get skeletal muscle hypertrophy even if you work out with a coffee mug (obviously a joke, but low intensity and low weights are really won't help).

If you're aming for the "bodyfitness" type, lean body your workouts should be mainly about bodyweight routines, and sorry.. you won't have to RUN, but things like plyometrics, cardio interval training, actually any type of aerobic workout will be your second nature.

And last, but not the least -you should do resistance training (weights), but your sets will have something like 20-30 reps each. The reason is -muscle edurance "dries up" the mass. In addition to that low bodyfat you'll get from your cardio workouts, high rep. workouts will also give you that nice chiseled definition.

Oh, and in case you enjoy compound old school exercises -like deadlift, benchpress and backsquat -forget about them. They're the best thing ever for people the opposite goal -mass.

Hope it helps, it's the best I can do over the internet. But you might wanna consult a good personal trainer, just for a chat and tips.

I dislike females that are too fit. And I think I'm not the only one. So you might want to stop...

Well I have gotten compliments followed by insults before. It really confused about how to respond to it. I was also told once that I had the bone structure of a model.(I don't know what that means) That I look ugly without my glasses.

This really isn't believable, but if it is, you're obviously a genetic freak. Here's a tip for your "burden" of gaining muscle mass. Do cardio when you first wake up. Don't eat as much. And when you do eat, don't eat carbs. Simple.

  • Well, M Night Shyamalan. My prognosis is that you should do as your nature dictates. If this is something you feel, don't deny it.

On the other hand, my experience on this is zilch. I stay fairly fit but mostly through jogging which you said you don't like.

Are you exercising beyond your strength? That can make you bulk up too quickly as oppose to building up to a certain degree.
