Dude half the people i try to talk to have literally nothing to say it's fucking ridiculous. So yes, totally normal. Try educating yourself.

It's one thing if you are disinterested completely in the subject or don't want to share your opinions. But if you actually have no thoughts or opinions then something is off. Were your parents overly protective or controlling?

It's normal to not have an opinion on most of the topics of today. most people don't have much of anything important to talk about anyway. you do have an opinion on a lot of things, you make decisions everyday. You have likes and dislikes. You need to talk to people that have similar interests as you. Find topics that interest or are important to you.
