That is actually an ethnic trait in some African groups. It's not just Asian.

It's perfectly normal--and beautiful in my opinion.

Well obviously you have to have some kind of crease in your eyelids....otherwise you wouldn't be able to keep your eyes open!!!

A friend of mine is mixed race (African & English) and has very Asian-looking eyes, so I'm guessing it's not as weird/uncommon as you think it is!

Have you ever found yourself at the grill attempting to make a sweet and sour southern barbecue? If so its clearly normal to not have the crease.

Maybe somewhere down the line one of your ancestors met up with a chinese railroad worker. HaHa I don't know I would need to see a pic.
