I have lucid dreams about zombies almost every night...

So, I have always dreamed a lot. And I was actually surprised to find that most people dont have lucid dreams almost every night, in fact it's considered "uncommon". Well, I dont watch much TV, I spend most of my time on the computer doing zombie unrelated things.

I keep having dreams that I'm fighting off and surviving a zombie apocalypse...The fear was immense at first, but now I'm the chuck norris of my zombie apocalypse world...

I dream about pissing a lot, and sometimes random other things like snakes slither by, or being in an asian war in the jungle. Mostly though, my dreams are about fighting zombies off...Normal?

I literally just woke up from a zombie nightmare.
I was at college and something in the food was bad and we had to evacuate the cafeteria. That's where it started. It was really slow at first. I was in the stall in the bathroom and a security guard walks in. He had dug a subway sandwich out of the trash can just so he wouldn't try and eat a student. I could hear him growling, and let me tell you, the growling is the worst part of these dreams. It's a good thing I was in the bathroom because I almost shat myself. The FBI busted the door down and shot him in the head and after that, I had went into a friends dorm and called my mom, my best friend, even mutual friends to come and pick me up. I've seen enough horror movies to know what was about to happen and I wasn't trying to stick around for it. I ended up being stuck in the dorm with one of them and I darted passed them with my amazing skills and ran out to the parking lot where I hot wired a car and took off. Thankfully my bladder woke me up.

I have been dreaming about zombie apocalypse style scenarios for over a week now and I haven't watched, read or seen anything zombie related for a while. My dreams are very real and these are scaring the crap out of me every night. I wake up and I'm so relieved to wake up. These dreams are wearing me out and I'm sick of them. They feel different too. I remember my dreams - most of them! Some of the time my dreams are cool and fun but some times they're scary and then other times they feel very real and when I wake up I have to be reminded that it didn't happen or it's not going to happen - they disturb me. These zombie dreams are disturbing me. It's like the dreams just pick up where they left off the night before. I'm sick of it...

I registered just to say that I dream of a zombie land nearly every time I dream. Seriously, 90% of the time. I love the Walking Dead and I must say that this phenomenon started after I got hooked on the series. Maybe my brain just can't wait between seasons...I don't know. My sleep world is completely the zombie apocalypse, I kind of like it. I'm past the scary phase and now it is just survival in the zombie apocalypse-"Chuck Norris phase" lol. It's nice to know that there are others that dream about this constantly too.

I would say that every other dream I have are about a zombie apocalypse, and they are so vivid it's scary, I remember one dream where me and my family were in Tesco and a hoard of zombies suddenly started rampaging in and devouring everybody. Later on we were then trapped in Tesco defending ourselves with hockey sticks against any remaining zombies.

  • I do too, don't worry about it. I play Left 4 Dead 2 constantly and Nazi Zombies on Call of Duty. Trust me, my zombie problem is worse.

Hi.. I signed up just to comment on your post.
For about three weeks I've been having intense zombie dreams. Yes, I am a lucid dreamer. Not a night has gone by that I haven't woke up to remember some realistic dream. This is different, it reoccurs every damn night. Zombies. Always zombies. The zombie Apocalypse if you will. I went to type in the google search bar "I dream about zombies" I made it to the word dream when "I dream about zombies" popped up. I don't watch zombie movies, or play the games.. shit I don't even like zombie movies (other than resident evil).. It strikes me as weird that these reoccurring dreams are happening to so many people.

Childhood Resident Evil fan? I've had 2 or 3 pretty good zombie-apocalypse dreams before, but regularly? That kicks ass!
