You shouldn't feel bad for feeling like this. ALthough it is not very acceptable in our culture, it is many others. For example in the Maldives (Islands off the coast of Sri-lanka,) cross-cousin marriage is prefered. However they only marry certain cousins from certain sides of the family (not sure why.) It is NOT incest like some ignorant people would think and it does not cause genetic defects. I have a background in cultural anthropology so am very open to different ideas.
