i went to the doctor he said it was an ingrown pimple. i used warm compresses but it comes back within weeks. i had surgury on it and yet it still comes back my doctor sent it for testing and he said it wasnt cancerous. its embarassing and its rite on my chin... i dont kno what else to do.
I had that on my chest..had surgery and it still looks like it's there but it's really a scar...done everything to get rid and decrease the scare but to no avail...next step is for me to see a plastic surgeon to discuss lazor treatment therapy...yours may not be as severe as mine but ask your doctor if it's really a pimple or scar tissue.
I've had several cysts and had a bad one just below my navel. This one was treated by a surgeon, took 15 minutes, local anesthetic. Then I got a whopper on my back, size of a tennis ball, but that my wife looked after it every days for 6 months before it cleared up, no surgery but after 8 days of anti-biotics, had to be cleaned and pressed to get the pus out. Try antibiotics first and it sohlud come to a head. If it doesn't, try surgery.
Actually, he didn't. An ingrown pimple is better known as a cyst - it's pus that formed deep under skin and becomes a painful red mound. Look it up if you don't believe me and don't be a prick next time just because your big smart brain hasn't heard of something before.
