I have an imaginary friend. iin?

Her name is Alice, and she is seven years old. She makes good company and I really enjoy talking to her every night before I go to bed. Sometimes Alice gets very jealous of real girls; she doesn't like it when I look at them or pay any attention to them, and now I think I've upset her. Of course I know she isn't real, but I did get kinda psyched out when she first started displaying emotions of her own.

I know this probably isn't normal behaviour for an 18-year-old boy, but how weird actually is it? Does anyone else still have imaginary friends? Should I be worried?

You have a very vivid imagination. If I were you, I'd write down everything that occurs between you and Alice. Just because it isn't normal, doesn't mean it's bad. As long as you can distinguish fantasy from reality, there's nothing to worry about.

This isn't normal. Perhaps you still haven't matured past the point that people usually lose their imaginary friends... Do u feel that you have developed normally?

Doesn't sound normal. Maybe see a therapist to figure out why its happening.

I think is pretty normal as long as you can distinguish between what is real and not. But I would also recommend you think about why you created Alice in the first place. She could be simply a way for you to sort out what what happened during the day without you feeling your talking to yourself. or it could be that you are just longing for companionship. Also if Alice starts acting completely independently to you then you might want to seek a counselor/ exorcists help. Whichever seems more appropriate
