So I live in America and I'm sure everyone is well aware of the war going on in the middle east & with Isis. Have you guys noticed the drop in gas prices since we've been over there fighting? Do you think it's a coincidence or do you think we took advantage of the war and used it to steal oil and stuff? (Sorry Don't know how to word this i'm so tired hope this makes sense)

look who benefits and who loses from cheap oil
winners are consumer countries like usa china and alla europe
losers are small to medium producers especially putin and venezuela who theyre tryin to stick it to
usa and canada also lose some revenue since theys producers but the oils just money in the bank for later
Saudi Arabia providing extra oil.

Oh so everyones gas prices went down? That's awesome. I just thought it was over here in america. Because it was at $4 a gallon and then drastically went back down to around $2 some places around $1.50. And its around the same time we were over there so that's why I was thinking hmm coincidence or not? You know lol.
The drop in price has absolutely nothing at all to do with Iraq or Syria. It's a consequence of supply increasing due to extraction techniques in the united states itself.
Just want to elaborate on your point a little bit so people understand better. Due to the increased oil and nat gas production from the United States opec has conspired to flood the market with more oil . Opec can produce oil far cheaper than the United States so they are effectively driving the price down to a point where fracking becomes cost prohibitive so they can try to drive the competition out. Nothing to do with conflicts overseas though. It is however really hurting Russia and Venezuela's economies which I love.
Oh i just assumed since most of our oil comes from the middle east that that may have something to do with it. I didn't know we were doing different techniques that's pretty cool. What are they doing differently now?
All I know is I can afford more and life is a little easier for the fact I not wasting it on gas to get to work. I getting a head for first time in long time.
I thought gas went down because of that international "don't buy gas this day" that was posted on Facebook last year. I figured enough people did it and it worked and I was kinda thinking we could unite and do it again (haha...do it).
