I have a mustache. iin? (i'm a girl)

I feel like calling myself mustachio because I feel like a guy. It's not like there is alot of hair like guys would have but enough for people to notice. I dont like it. Do other girls have upper lip hair? I need advice, what should I do? shave? If so, with what? Won't that make it grow more? Do girls go to profesionals for this? What kind of place would you go to get rid of upper lip hair?

You should roll it at the corners and mindlessly play with it while talking to people and observe their reaction.

When you're done messing with people, try waxing it, don't shave or use creams, it will just give you a fuller Portuguese-style mustache.

    • Haha too late... Danm. I missed such a good opportunity it woould have been awesome especially if someone could have video taped me doing it. I went to eyebrows 'R' us and had it removed. They threaded it, is that bad? Or is waxing a better idea? It really hurt when they were doing it, I felt like clawing someone.

Threading and both waxing removes hair from the roots, so you're all good. Enjoy your hairless upper lip.

        • Yes, I will. Feels kind of weird though. Does it make it grow faster? My mom went with me and she said if I thread it once it'll come back faster and more, is that true?

It's just as good as waxing! Both remove hair from the root and should take longer to grow back and not come back faster and fuller, as opposed to what a razor or a cream would do! Enjoy being mustache-free! Girls shouldn't have to keep them in my opinion! :D

            • I'm gonna learn how to thread it myself so I dont have to pay someone else on something that I can learn. I just watched a youtube on threading and it seems pretty easy so I'm gonna try once it when it starts coming back. I have closed the doors for mustachio!! Yeah I feel the same now that I'm living a hairless upper lip life. :)

I wax it and when I don't have time, I use Jolen. It disappears.

I've seen a neck beard before, but she has a full beard?
      Have her try a goatee.

What about laser hair removal? Really expensive?

You should pluck it out with tweezers or wax it, don't use a razor. Razors cause that fuller effect. Every girl has a bit of upper lip hairws, it's just not as prominent for some people

Yeah threading is when you twist the thread so that it plucks out the hair from the root. It's essentially the same as tweezing but it grabs more hairs at once, and if you're good at it, it can be less painful and (for eyebrows anyway) look better.

I'm a guy, but I can say it is pretty normal and it also depends on your ethnic background. WASPy people get away with it because they have that peach fuzz or blonde hair.

Anyway what the hell is threading? it sounds painful.

    • Threading is when they get a sewing thread and it plucks it out from the root... Something like that... I dont know how to explain it.. but yes it was really painful!!!

I have a little hair on thy lip and I don't do anything for it. It's barely noticeable.
I think you should own it and accessorize it with a monocle and top hat:)

I have a hair on my chin. I call it a beard, but I take pride in it for some reason. I guess because it makes me feel like I'm circus worthy.
