I have a lot of dreams about an old teacher

It seems like I often dream about being in a relationship with an old art teacher of mine. It always feels really nice even though I was never really attracted to him. I did admire him and his approval meant a lot to me, he was someone I could have a good conversation with. But it feels really weird to have these dreams because I'm only 18 and he's like in his 40's? I always associated being attracted to older men with daddy issues.

    I've fantasized a lot about some of my teachers from high school. I never thought about it while I was actually in high school, but years later, I find myself thinking about some of them. It's usually the ones that I had a decent relationship with - meaning I enjoyed their classes and maybe worked with them in extracurricular activities. It's not necessarily about a physical attraction - I think it's more of an emotional attraction and the appealing idea of a strong male presence.

    I always dream about former teachers mainly the ones that I learned the most from academically and about life. My one English teacher I dream about the most is one of my role models and in dreams I love seeing her and talking to her since I don't see her in actuality anymore.

    Older men can teach a young lady many things. It is good training for you.
