    Perfectly normal to be attracted to your father, or at least Sigmund Freud would say so. Add this to the fact that you (it seems) spent a considerable period of your life without him in it, and you can probably add a chunk of GSA to the mix too.

    Now I'm only speaking for myself here, but if my "adult" daughter/stepdaughter came up to me and told me they wanted to have sex with me, I'm not sure I would say no. I'd never "initiate" anything, but the thought has crossed my mind more than once after they were 15+.

        The only thing I find fucked up is when a person in a position of authority and trust (e.g. a parent) then takes things further either by forcing sex with the child, or by coercing the child into sex.

        I don't feel like discussing it right now, but suffice to say there was occasions in my childhood where my "natural curiosity" led me to explore things with an older relative. A couple of "incidents" occurred, I learned what I wanted to learn, and nothing happened thereafter.

        Now if I had wanted the sexual component to continue, I am sure that this would not have been a problem (she expressed as much at the time anyway). I didn't, and that was okay too. It was all (as I see it then and now) born of love, not just some sick desire to "get your rocks off with a kid".

    I think it is normal. When I was a teen and i had a lot of faith in my parents about every thing..I used to be sexually attracted to my dad but later when I grew up I found it disgusting. We don't share the same bond anymore and are distant emotionally even though i love him and respect him enough. So that might happen to you as well with time or may be not.
