I hate when people say "the n word" instead of the actual word "nigger"?

I just think saying "the n word" instead of the actual word "nigger" is just so childish. For grown adults to be too afraid to say a word, when it's not being said in a racist way, is just pathetic. Just to be clear I've never called anyone, black or otherwise, a nigger. But I have sometimes mentioned the word itself, when I'm just talking about the actual word, and people get all shocked and offended and accuse me of being racist. It's just frustrating.

    It's retarded and pretty offensive since it suggests the listener can't handle hearing a specific word. Fuck all that.

    I feel uncomfortable saying it because of its history, but we shouldn't make others censor themselves. I wouldn't judge someone for saying it unless it's actually in a racist context.

    I agree, but I also hate the remade version of the word: niggA. There is no "A" in the original word Nigger. Why do they do that. It's like the idiots who say "dat" instead of "that", are they just enjoying the fact they are retards and will always work at McDonalds?
