I cannot stand U2 at all. I'd honestly rather stab a screw driver into my ear than listen to that band for an extended period of time.
The thing is, I think they have a couple good songs, and I'd probably like them okay if it weren't for BONO.
God, I hate that guy. His voice drives me up the wall. Way to ruin a potentially good band you walking turd.
Don't be pissy about it. You don't like their music. Congrats. Join the others. No one likes everything, so the stuff you do like, listen to that and the stuff you don't, don't troll about.
as for music i feel that some of it is ok. but like you, bono...ugggggghhhhhh i HATE him. he thinks he's so cool and good and god sent and has a big fat swollen head. ridiculous. he thinks he put ireland on the map, now fuck you man! what the hell.
Same here-i only like a couple of songs on their album, the rest are crap!
I hate u2!! Everyone just loves Bono and he knows it and acts all cool for saving Africans but it's just for his pleasure and everyone worships him.
Its the popular in "pop." While groups may have a huge following, if you don't like them, all the publicity hype & overblown hooey around them is just that more obvious & hard to take. But for those who like them, its part of the package.
I love U2 but a lot of people don't like them. It's the same for every band/ artist. They have their fans and they have their hatrers. Totally normal part of the music industry.
i dont know im not a big fan but its not cause bono its the band i dont like any of the edges solos or riffs and the drummer is terrible too
I can't stand them either. Bono loves to come across as some "feed the world" hippie. But he ends up looking like an egotistical bastard to me. Not to mention his strained, "just Kicked in the balls" voice makes me cringe everytime.
Oh and Dave Matthews Band is Horseshit as well.
Most of the people I know hate them. Also, most people I know hate the Grateful Dead (which is another sin, along with hating U2).
