I hate snow caps in summer

Ugh I see people all the time wearing knitted hats/ snow caps in the summer( yes when it's like 90 degrees)! Seriously wtf? Why not wear snow shoes too or maybe some ice skates. Do people think it looks cool or do they enjoy their heads getting extremely sweaty?

I thought you meant snowcaps on mountains, like glaciers. That would have annoyed me. But yeah, I saw someone with a knit hat (or beanie) on when it was 90 F out. I thought they were ridiculous.

And because I'm bored at the moment, I googled snowcap to see what images came up....apparently it's a strain of weed. I just googled pot at work. D'oh!

Well that happened on accident too. One of the local radio station call letters are KINK. Innocently, we typed kink into google. They wanted us to buy air time so it was actual research. But the radio station was not the first hit.

    They're idiots.
The funny thing is they are probably the ones you see in the middle of winter without a jacket.

  • Not everyone dresses according to what's considered "normal" for summer/winter, you know.

I happened to dislike vests and shorts, so I wear tights and jerseys, hoodies or atleast 3/4 sleeve tops. Sometimes I'll wear a dress but I'll still have opaque stockings on and a cardigan over it. I just don't like the look of "summer" clothes.

Oddly, the only people I ever notice wearing those are Buddhist monks.

For some reason, Australian Aboriginals in the outback love beanies and I was amazed at how many were worn even during the hottest weather, I'm talking over 45 degrees Celsius.

It didn't annoy me because I don't give a stuff what anyone wears but it still puzzles me, especially as there's no equivalent in their traditional culture
