So today I'm going out to watch a movie with these kids I know because my parents are friends with there parents, today we are going to watch insidious, a scary movie, this happens all the time whenever they wanna see a movie it has to be scary and when I don't wanna go my parents tell me you are not leaving ur sister alone , and when I suggest a comedy or action everyone is like do we have to come on. I do hate scary movies because of the fact that I could pay the same to watch something that will make me laugh.

    Scary movies are awesome! You should give them a chance. Just keep telling yourself, "Monsters aren't real."

    I usually try to laugh at the monster or killer. It kind of lightens the mood a bit and helps you remember that they're just actors reciting a script. You could also try finding a movie with the same actor who was killed in the scary one. This helps you by telling your mind "He's/She's not really dead."

    Anyway, I hope this helps. :)
