I hate religion
Is it normal to hate religion? I look down on those that are religious. I think their ridiculous for showing up every sunday, sometimes more, to worship something that doesn't exist. They say you just have to have faith and will give you all kind of bible quotes. But how is our religion now any different from when Egyptians worshiped sun gods, or made sacrifices to the snakes gods? No, it's not. What makes today's religion any different? We chuckle at how stupid those people were for believing that crap, but somehow OUR GOD is real. Also, what kind of god would allow so much suffering around to planet? From little children dying from cancer or getting raped, to tigers being kept in tiny cages at zoo's, to the slaughter of millions of people over the ages from wars CAUSED by religion. This is your god? This is not my god, I would not worship a god like this. Oh, please give me a quote now, some great bible verse. And you honestly believe that there is some guy up there that controls every single aspect of 6 billion peoples lives? He listens to the billions of prayers every day and has a fix. Our lives are totally planned out and he controls them all from some mystical place, and if you don't obey him, you get punished. Do others feel this way? I think religion is such a scam. It sounds like a bad preschool make believe story that people cling to like it's the truth. What's wrong with these people. Far more suffering has been caused by religion throughout history than from all other factors combined. So please, go sunday and give away more of your money to the church. It is the greatest scam the world has ever seen. It collects billions upon billions of peoples money, tax free, owns enormous buildings tax free, and scares people with the threat of if you don't give ten percent of what you earn, your going to hell! Is this normal to feel this way, or am I the only one to see this?
