Today, for some reason i got a peice of a peanut and fed it to ants. Totally random right? Well, is it normal to yell at my little sister for killing ants too?! I tell her that they are innocent. "What did they do to you?", i ask her. Bees don't bother me either. i Like them in fact.
I agree, it pisses me off too! I have a buddhist friend and once, someone squashed a spider and she was like: OOMMMGGG because they don't kill animals... or bugs... ahha but I think it's normal you're just sensitive to life i guess :)
I don't mind bugs. As long as they stay outside. Inside, they are history.
You'd hate to live with me, we have wasps, yellowjackets, and horseflies. I either wind up shooting at them with someone's BB gun or swinging my shoes around like an idiot.
I think this is completley normal and I'm just like you. Although if the insects are a dangerous hazrad to me and my family and have many numbers inside my house, so many that theres not point in saving them all, I will kill insects.
Of course its normal that you care about those little creatures lives.But you have to understand that sadly,they will die soon enough.
first of all i wanna say: insects have no brain.
they have no consciousness at all, so it's not such a big sin (i couldn't think of another word XD) to kill them.
but still, i totally know what you mean.
i have abselutely no problem with things like flies and wasps.
my sister always freaks out when she sees them, and i'm like: "jeez, calm down, it's just a wasp"
I guess its normal. I don't like it when people randomly kill things(I don't unless its in my house like a centipede or roach) but you have to admit there are a billion bugs in the world and if we didn't kill some of them theyd take over and eat us.
^^^wrong and wrong. all insects have brains, and they all have conciousness. maybe not as much as us. but ants wage war against eachother. dont think that takes conciousness?
