I hate people who fundraise for charity

I always see those people on the news who walk the whole length of the country or sleep in a tent to raise money and all I feel towards them is annoyance, bitterness and hatred, they don’t make me want to give to charity at all and seeing them just annoys me so much.

Especially the ones who are raising money for corona ‘victims.’ Only British people will have heard of him but there’s this old cunt called captain Tom who walks up and down his garden four times a day (literally like 100 metres) and people have donated over £60 million to him to raise money for old and already dying people who have covid.

It winds me up way more than it should but I just hate them so much. Most of them probably just want the fame, the money and to have everyone admire them and think they’re a good person.

Is it normal that I have such an extreme and adverse reaction to seeing these people both on tv and in public?

Its kind of extreme. Im skeptical of alot of charities in the USA. Because a lot of them take large amounts as profits. My boss always makes a smartass comment when I tell him I wont be giving to united way through my check this year. He basically says im an asshole. But some of that money pays for abortions. I dont wanna give to all that. Id rather tip a waiter good or my barber. Atleast i know its going to working people in my own community. Not just some 15 year old black girls abortion
