Is it normal to hate your wife. All she does it sit around getting fat and watching some stupid crap. She goes out and spends a fortune on candles and flowers and crap. Then when I get mad she withholds the lame once a month sex, corpse sex I get from her.

She bitches if i spend $20 on a cool sports package and then she goes out and pays $100 to let fish eat her feet.

God she is retarded. I really hate her.

    I have no advise for you. But you do have my deepest sympathies. On a more serious note, You should talk to a divorce lawyer and see what they can do. No-one deserves to have to be stuck in a life like that. You only get one life. And a good lawyer should be able to get you out of paying alimony. certainly not for the rest of her life. The court can order her to get off her fat ass and go back to work. It will cost you in the short term but what price can you put on happiness? The key is a good divorce lawyer.

    Perfectly normal. Next time you go to the supermarket look at the happily married men with their wives being dragged around with their charming brood in tow, looking at exciting things like tealight holders, steam cleaners, faux fur throws & shabby chic tat.

    Yeah, spending even more money that you don't have that will probably take 12 months to pay off.

      Exactly. She thinks ducks are cute and spends a fortune on the stupid things gathering dust buy hell opens up if I buy a bottle of scotch.

      I seriously think she is brain damaged or something.

      Just turn the lights on. Why do you need 500 candles stinking up the place. I swear she is trying to burn the house down.

        my living room is her swamp , it has two paths one to the upstairs and one to her couch. you cant see the floor. i have pictures of it before she lost her mind.

      She would probably love that. She'd get the house and half my pay for the rest of her life, since she has never worked a day of it since getting married.

      She can't even cook and thinks popcorn with a pound of butter on it is healthy snacking.

        You've only been married 5 years, she's not going to get alimony for very long, if even at all. Alimony is not very common but if it is awarded it largely depends on the length of the marriage so the longer you stay and she stays jobless, the worse off you may be. What happens to your house depends on a lot but her just getting it free and clear is not likely.

        Your first step should be to talk to a lawyer, they can tell you what to start doing now to better your standing. Quit sitting there doing nothing because you're buying into all that 'men have it so bad in divorce' bullshit.

          5 years. She stopped working and gaining weight immediately. Then stopped the sex cause she didn't "feel sexy". Now the collecting crap has been going for 2 years.

          This is a woman who would blow me without even asking. Now she kisses it once on my birthday and wants a reward.

            There are many troll posts on here, but I actually believe everything you say because the same thing happened to a buddy of mine. If marriage counseling is off the table and you really want out, talk to an arbitrator before a lawyer. Depending on what state you live in, she may not be able to financially screw you. If you had kids, you’d be sunk.
            btw - counseling worked for my buddy, the wife went back to work, lost the weight, and all else is back to normal.
