My parents very clearly favor my sister, and tend to ignore me. Both of my parents emotionally and somewhat physically abused me when i was little and defenseless, and before I knew how to fight back.
I'm honestly starting to hate my parents for this. They don't give two fucks about my health and while they congratulate me for my accomplishments, forget them only minutes later.
Unless you're planning on moving out, then you have to deal with it. Family is temporary.
Too bad they didn't hate each other, or died before your conception. Then you wouldn't have to suffer the indignity of being the also ran. You could just not be, at all. Would that be preferable?
Doesn't sounds that bad. Your probably about 16 going thru that phase of "I hate my parents". If not that's pretty sad on your part to waste mental effort on "hating" your parents for being average parents
They are the one responsible for bringing you into the world, and paying your internet bills allowing you to come to this site, stop being envious and be grateful that they didn't abandon you during the time you were most helpless, and try to impress them harder than your siblings...
You should have a family counciling together. They are your parents they fed you when you were unable to earn and educated you so you can have a job and survive.
