I hate my best friend

sometimes i go through phases of actually hating my friends to an extent where i cant actually be around them any longer...it comes and goes every so often. .i think it is comletely normal

Oh honey I know where your at! My best friend only talks about how "this girl called me a th*t even though she's supposed to be my friend" or how she'll "beat the s***" out of someone but when she gets the chance she doesn't. All bark, no bite. Honestly, if you don't want too much drama, drift away slowly from her.

i hate mine too....she super mean...she used to give me these notes saying that i was an idiot and other really mean things. now she whispers an insult to me every time i see her. so i guess its mean, but its normal.

Get other friends and ignore her for a while, act like a bitch to her. Mostly likely she'll get the point and stop acting like this and if she doesn't you definatly don't need friends like that. The odds are like everyone else is saying; she's jealous of you.

It is normal and you try to explain what you feel, and ask her to express herself. If this doesn't work out and still she doesn't understand you then its no use staying as "best friends". Better to find some new friends.

Its normal to be pissed off with her under the circumstances but I'd say make an effort to save the relationship before you decide to move on.

Talk to her as a friend to help her grow up around her insecurities. Tell her you were hurt about the poison pen letter and tripping. Let her know that you can be friends & have other friends. Be clear about what you expect from her.

If that doesn't work at least you tried. But it is worth the effort for someone you have known for years, and may for many to come.

Yeah I thought I was the only person who did'nt like my best friend. I know she is jealous of me and it's the same thing with her; I can't have any friends that she does'nt have. Like all my friend s frome middle school that I like to keep in touch with she is always saying that I should'nt because they "are so in the past" but I know she just says that because she did'nt have any friends in middle school.She is definetly jealous of you.

Well i've just discovered i hate ALL of my friends now, it's not weird, and i know it's hard to get knew ones, but i'm going to try and avoid them, maybe you should do the same with your best friend?

Your friend sounds like she's getting insecure about losing you. If she hates you, then why would she be so upset about you having other friends? You should give her a chance, try to find out if there is a reason for her behavior. Perhaps you've recently started hanging out with some new people and she feels left out when you're with them?
And are you sure she tripped you on purpose? It could have been an accident. The note was a very immature and nasty way of communicating with you, but perhaps she finds it difficult to talk to you face to face about this.
Give her a chance, but if the situation doesn't improve then you need to move on to your other friends.

Sometimes long term friendships do breakdown especially early in life as people just grow apart. It sounds like you girls are ready for some new BFF's, I'd recommend that you keep things civil and don't have an all out war, which might require some tact, and a gentle chat given her dislike of you making new friends.

ya i had a best friend for years then she turned into a bitch and wrote a note about why she hated me and showed it to all our friends and she wouldnt allow me to hang out with our other friends, i still did and shed be like "i see you guys are best friends now eh??" and it was so lame she still tries to be nice to me 3 years later saying i was always her best friend then my other friend said she was talking trash about me a week before so ya ppl like her arent worth it.. please find new friends!

My best friend threw a knife at me and stabbed me in the foot when I was 14 so yea I guess it is normal to hate her. Just find new friends because she is jealous of you obviously.
