I hate multiculturalism

You always hear how multiculturalism creates diversity. It isn't true at all. If one thing, multiculturalism kills diversity. Just think of the world as different buckets of color. You have red, blue, green, etc. What do you get when you mix them? You get 1 color. So what you have done is that you've ruined diversity since you went from having multiple colors to only having 1 color.

Multiculturalism is about living beside each other and being accepting of the minority of people who do choose to partner with people of a different ethnic background. No ones trying to breed out your whiteness. Calm your tits. Idiot.

    The word "racist" is losing it's meaning they use it so much. The liberals push the gay agenda for the same destructive reasons they push diversity. Liberals don't care about the actual people, just the destruction of White America. I've known some wonderful gay people who can't stand the militant liberal agenda, and how they use gays to push it.
    
    Diversity will be the finale nail in the coffin though.

  When you mix different cultures, the original culture gets left behind and splits into maybe little bits and pieces.
  
  It's like having 100% Lemon Indica marijuana. And mixing it with 10 different strains. Now it wont be 100% Indica Lemon anymore. It wont stay true to it's original strain.

    Define 'mix'. Most of the time, mixing cultures just means the dominant ones pick and choose what they want and throw away the rest. It's not typically a democratic process picking and choosing what everyone on all sides wants. That's the problem...it's usually one side conquering the other or being in charge and telling the other side what attributes they are allowed to keep and what they need to quit.

I think that's the opposite of what multiculturalism says it wants.

Multiculturalism is the naive idea that people from radically different cultures can live in very close proximity, maintain their "authenticity" in their cultures, while somehow also not coming into conflict based on their differences.

That simply doesn't work. That mentality is not conducive to long-term societal cohesion and peace. It destroys the fabric of society.

It is also incredibly racist, making a kind of exhibitionism of "authentic exotic culture" and holding people of different races to different standards of behaviour.

I'm an assimilationist, culturally anyway. I don't believe in enforced race mixing and people washing themselves out physically, but I do believe in cultural assimilation and trying to find a common culture within a society. I don't think that from an emotional point of view, I'm not trying to "preserve" anyone's cultural heritage in particular, because culture will evolve regardless of immigration and demographic changes or lack thereof. I just think it's best for long-term social cohesion and a stable societal fabric.

  I've said this here before but I'll say it again, I read old books as a hobby. I have an extensive collection of reference books, magazines and textbooks from the early 1900's to the 1970's-80's and frankly, after reading these books I can't see how anyone could hold your opinion. It only works if your culture is the dominant one...you wouldn't be saying that if your culture was the one being erased. I'm not purporting to be an expert by any means but based on what I have read that was put out as 'common knowledge' and 'good sense', the attitudes towards anyone non-white in the US is abhorrent. Calling natives 'savages'?
  But stealing anything from their culture that they like, all of a sudden it's great? Prime example, tobacco. Native Americans grew and used tobacco but we're generally seen as backwards people, but once white people got hold of tobacco it became something prestigious to use. Texts up until the 80's-90's matter-of-factly refer to natives as savages. I have dictionaries from the 50's-60's that actually say that 'nigger' and 'negroe' is potentially becoming an offensive word.
  
  There was strong and convincing argument against native Americans and blacks owning property unless they passed literacy tests and proved they had adopted the 'white man's ways' (literally what the texts say). It's disgusting. If you were black or native I'd think you'd not have the same attitude towards assimilation,

    No not really. When I said "I'm not trying to preserve anything" I have that attitude to white culture too. It's not like we're still hyper-religious Christians going on witch hunts and practicing slavery. That's what we'd still have if people defended "cultural heritage" and "preserving culture" a few hundred years ago. I don't give a shit about anyone's cultural heritage from an emotional point of view, even mine.
    
    Maybe "assimilation" is the wrong word then. I'm just not emotional or sensitive about this and I don't know why anyone is, whatever race. Culture evolves, it progresses naturally if people let it. Maybe I'm not so against the trivial everyday aspects of multiculturalism. What I really don't like is people defending the most backwards, stupid cultural practices as "cultural heritage" and "diversity" when it is not conducive to good living standards. If people literally stopped doing just that, I could probably be fine with some surface-level multiculturalism.

its theorized that "race" wont exist in the future because eventually, we will all be mixed. theres nothing wrong with that. soon less and less people will find a problem with people of other races and racists will be outnumbered and then extinct. however!!! in countries with less diversity, theres less racism. for example, america is pretty diverse and it is stereotyped for being so. but you look at sweden or iceland or norway where there is much less diversity and you never hear racism from these countries. they may be racist but they dont feel the need to say anything.

      While I disagree with Dusty's tone, he does make valid points. And you. I believe, are the one not looking at history, except for the parts that you use to validate your argument. For example, if you ask almost ANY black person in America if blacks ever enslaved whites, their answer will be overwhelmingly no. The truth is, blacks most certainly did enslave whites in northern Africa and the timeframe partially coincided with the American slave trade.
      
      Nearly every society or race has had slavery of some type in their history. I wonder, however, why it is that it is only whites who are expected to give reparations, or to feel guilty about the sins of our fathers? And at what point in time will we have paid our supposed debt back to the black man? Will it not be until the point of complete negation?
      
      Europe is seeing an onslaught of immigration from both Muslim countries and Africa. By some bizarre coincidence, the crime rate is going through the roof. Imagine that. The police in London now carry handguns when they never needed them before... women in Sweden are being raped at such an alarming rate by muslim immigrants that some have even resorted to darkening their hair, skin, and eyes to seem less white. But you don't hear much about such things on the news, do you? No, you hear about the much less common crimes like a guy getting beaten by white men for being an immigrant.
      
      No one with the slightest bit of intellect could look at the world and not see that there are races that cause more crime and have less of a sense of social responsibility. Three of the races, however, do not have this problem. Jews, whites, and orientals.
