I hate money

I really hate money stuff.
I can't work right now so I get money from the government which makes me feel guilty enough. But the problem is that my family all have jobs and they can't even afford to live. I send my sisters food money if I can afford to, they never ask but I don't want them to be hungry.

I don't understand why people who work hard can't afford necessities while I can afford to help them. I don't understand and it's making me feel uncomfortable. People tell me to just accept what I'm given and not question it but how can the world be this backwards? is it normal to feel like this?

People who love money are obsessed with buying objects in the hope of validating themselves as a "success" however since relying on outside sources to create happiness within yourself never works, I'd say you're better off not worrying about it and focus on living the most interesting life possible

The only true freedom is freedom from the heart's desire, and the only true happiness this way lies.

  • I think you should hate the way people use money to end up like this. I don't hate money. I always suffered from hunger and illness due to lack of money. I still need it a lot, but I worked hard to gain some. I started in a very unfavourable situation and that was due to people and their attitude. Money won't do anything if people use it correctly.

The world sucks, but if you get hung up on how bad it is it'll only make it seem even worse. Help people whenever you can. my family has the same problem, but we have alot of friends that help us find sales, foodlinks, etc.

I'm legally homeless and on EBT stamps.

And let me tell you what, the government likes to fuck you over.

    I started out with $200, no I'm at $186.

Then, guess what happens when you want to do good for yourself and go to a community college?
You get punished by having your EBT stripped from you.
Happened to my cousin Misty when she went to get some classes done and a degree.
She had to fall back on her parents for help, AND SHE'S THIRTY.
My little cousin Taiya just got a job at McDonalds, and now that she has a job, she has to pay back all these government house funding fees and house bills and rent.
She's only 18, and has to carry all the weight of her mother who's nearly 40 and can't do anything do to severe epilepsy and diabetes and other health issues, and on top of that she has to support her younger teenage sister.

    That isn't right.

Or take my other cousin Ronnie who works his fucking ass off but can't get good health insurance.
He's too poor to afford the good ones but too "rich" to be eligible for state insurance. Yet if he doesn't get one, he has to pay like this big ass fine or something at the end of the year through his taxes.

What is wrong with America. Holy shit man.

I lived in poverty for five years while I was going to college because I refused to get student loans. My horizons were short, but I had no problems. I had no car, and went shopping on my bike. I calculated calories per dollar on all my food purchases, kept my electric bill down with efficient lights, and watched only those TV shows that my antennae could pick up. Generic prescriptions only. Never have credit cards. There are many ways to keep expenses down, but you have to do all of them.

Here is a link for some ideas.
