I wonder if anyone feels the same way as me. I hate modern clothes. I think they have no character. I look at photos of my grandpa from the 1950's and I think the clothes he is wearing look so much better than modern clothes. People today look so bland in all these daft little fashions.
I agree ,I could never see myself actually wearing these because of the looks I would get but if others started wearing these clothes I would too.I LOVE the dresses from the boroque period (the ones with petticoats and corsets).I love floor length dresses/skirts. I love the detailing .I love everthing from those times!
I love the men's fashion from the 20's and 30's, and if more people around me dressed like that, I would in a heart beat. I just don't want others to think I am weird wearing a smart suit shopping at Wal Mart. LOL
I agrRRee with your idea. When everyone else around me idolized K-pop idols I alone wanted/still dream to be Dirk Bogarde, David Niven, Jeremy Brett, Ronald Colman and etc, side-parting my combover hair to the right.
And how I long to complete the WHITE BOW TIE + WHITE WAISTCOAT + TUXEDO + OPERA CLOAK combination!
I hate modern clothes, I hate anything with a low-rise, they're skanky and uncomfortable, I love things that cinch at the waist like high rise jeans, I hate straightened hair, I hate logo t-shirts and baggy jeans, And those hideous platform shoes everyone wears for some reason. I wish 50's and 80's fashion would come back, I love them.
I think that's very true. I wish I could dress like people from different times. I mean, there are some really cool clothes today... Just not very accessible.
Yeah I got a thing for those hot goth chicks that wear old style clothing mostly made by themselves. Sooo Hot!!!
yes not only do we dress like shit but now days the quality of the clothing is garbage its paper thin and feels like plastic
i just got a new pair of khakis the other day and they felt like they would rip if i even lightly brushed against something and they felt like if i wore them the whole day id get a rash
i dug threw my dresser and found a pair from 2006 and they felt thicker softer stronger and better made
I cant say much since I was born in the early 90s so yea..but i did like the way I looked wearing the old fashioned shirts/jeans when i was a kid from old pictures
I was such a sucker for the fashions of bygone eras. Audrey Hepburn and Jackie O were such classy, well-dressed women that the clothes they wear are still in style after 50 years. I'd much rather wear a tailored sweater and jeans than leggings and crazy, sparkly tops any day.
If your ever in Chicago I have to take you shopping. Your just shopping in the wrong stores.
I'm no fashion person but even I would have to agree - I'd be hard pressed to say just what style there is today! 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, all seem distinctive - now ???

Yeah its totally normal, I'm in 11th grade, and I can't stand the shit high school kids wear now a days, fucking tight jeans with cuffs at the end and stupid designer t shirts, I myself like 90s grunge fashion, so I show up to school with torn, dirty pants and shirts with holes in them and I grow my hair out
