I hate mediators

whenever i am explaining something that happened to me or a problem i am having it seems like my cousin is always taking the other persons side. but she always tells me "im just being the mediator". It really gets on my nerves. Sometimes i argue with her when she says that. Even if she doesnt know the person i am having a conflict with she still plays the "mediator" part. I dont hate my cousin but i hate when she acts like a mediator.is this normal to feel this way?

  • When I was in high school, a teacher of mine told me that I'm just like the 12th juror in Twelve Angry Men. I think that some people are just that way, it's part of their unchangeable personality, so don't hate.

However, the way that you described it makes her sound like she's not giving you any sort of validation for feeling the way that you do, so she's essentially just being a pain in the ass instead of a mediator.

  • Tell her to quit being an arbitrary bitch and side with her cousin.

I used to be the "mediator" when I was a little kid, but now I usually mind my own business! It's one thing if someone of authority like a teacher mediates, but another when a random person who wasn't originally apart of the argument decides to stick their nose in other peoples business!

Ya my old roommate is like that. Always trying to jump in and stick his nose into other peoples business by playing the mediator role... pain in my bum!

Ever consider maybe you're just wrong most of the time?
