I hate it when brown eyed people get coloured contacts

i've always thought of changing your hair and eye color as an easy way to play with your looks. no one is saying brown eyes are unattractive! i have brown eyes and i get tons of compliments (because of the size and shape) but i still like to wear green contacts every once in a while or dye my hair a different shade (naturally black, i usually just go with a blue-black or put a light tint of purple). it's no different than wearing make-up, really. as long as someone is comfortable and confident enough to go out au-naturel i don't see what's so bad about going out looking slightly different every once in a while.

It's just a confidence boost. I mean do you degrade women who wear push up bras? There's a certain look that some people want to achieve. Personally I don't care about the decisions others make. As long as they're happy why does it matter that they changed their appearance to achieve their desired look?

It ALWAYS looks more fake than pretty and usually not very attractive, but I don't "hate" it.

Regardless of your opinion, they can do what they want and have the right not to be judged for it. It's their lives - it doesn't hurt you in any way, so stop complaining.

Yeah, changing your appearance won't suddenly make you more attractive to people who are judging your attractiveness by your appearance. Anyone spot the flaw in this logic?

I always get so pissed when I see people wearing colored contacts. I know I shouldn't but I do. I have naturally very bright blue eyes and a wide array of blonde in my hair. So many people die there hair and wear contacts to the point were no one believes me that I've never dyed my hair/ wore contacts before. And on multiple occasions the person asks if I dyed my hair or am wearing contacts. Then when I say no, they walk away after calling me a "Fake Ass Bitch" or "lying Mother Fucking whore" (a stranger actually said that) and I've never had sex, I'm a teenager okay. So I always get criticized for "faking my looks" even though its natural.

I agree, there's nothing worng with brown eyes. I hate it when people wear colored contacts..It's stupid.

I think brown is a very beautiful eye colour, and therefore don't see anything wrong with it.

I have brown eyes and have started to occasionally wear colored contacts. It's not a matter of being ashamed of the color.. I may want a change of pace for that day. Heck, sometime I wear brown lenses to intensify the color. I'm not trying to be attractive or change who I am as a person.
Colored contacts are a cosmetic. Like one day I might want natural eyebrows, the following maybe rainbow colored!
It's not as if their scheming against you, "today I'm going to wear blue contacts to REALLY piss off a random stranger." Stop being so butthurt over other people's decisions.

You can judge, that's natural but you're being a tad overly sensitive.

But yes, I agree, it very stupid. Everyone should be proud of their natural phenotype and looks, excepting deformities of course.

I have brown eyes and I don’t have a problem with them but they look really dark with my skin coulour and look black sometimes I have always wanted to change them to another coulour but haven’t but people are beautiful regardless eye coulour there’s nothing wrong with contacts but you shouldn’t be raging people will do what they want you shouldn’t be be saying how pathetic can they get it’s not a bad thing for wanting change

Whoa whoa whoa. There are tons of lovely looking people who are hot NOT despite having brown eyes, but BECAUSE they would be hot regardless of eye colour. Brown eyes on HOT people can be exsquisitely beautiful. I've seen some lovely peole with dark eyes. Mostly mixed race natives, chinese people ( like Gong Li) and...basically any race of person who has model-y features. Brown eyes are beautiful. It's even nicer looking on people who are good looking all over, of course. Let people wear contacts if they want to, as long as it looks not scarily fake, because honestly if you are ugly in appearence it won't make a difference. Plenty of ugly people with light OR dark eyes.

Let me guess you have brown eyes yourself, huh? Technically it's none of your business if people wear colored contacts or not! If it were possible for me to go and take my brown eyed, auburn haired self and get my DNA changed so I look like Hitler's wet dream and then change my body to look like a 21 year old it would still be done of your business!

They aren't 'ashamed', they just like colored eyes better. And some people do look really good with colored eyes. Brown eyes are fine too. And it doesn't always look fake, on some people colored contacts look perfectly normal just like how on some people hair that has been died red/blonde it looks normal.

my mom just likes to try out the colours, She's such a child at heart. :)

Its something different. Its because brown is a dull color to be honest and no one really pays attention to them. If the colored eyes suit the person then it does look attractive but if they get like yellow or gold (cat eye colored) contacts then it looks horrible

The most worrying thing for me about people wearing coloured contacts is that most of them don't know that they bleach your eyeballs
