I hate hot and humid weather, is it normal?
I'm a 19 year old originally from Wickford, England but I've lived in Tampa, Florida for the last 5 years.
I don't get what the hell all the hype is about when people go on about how nice the weather is here??
I effin well hate it! The humidity makes it feel like your breathing in syrup and it makes you sweat your balls off, and the heat feels even worst because of it, and there isn't any breeze to cool you off either! (If you don't Hurricane Matthew, that is).
Plus the fact that Florida's weather is overly exaggerated and somewhat of a joke since it rains most of the time and it's friggin miserable. And after Hurricane Matthew, I can confidently say that the west side of Florida-as of 2016- has WORST WEATHER than ALL OF ENGLAND!
Mind you, I love sunny beaches and a tropical getaway as much as the next person but if I want to do that then I go to the Algarve, Portugal; but at least the air is dry and there's a BREEZE (plus the drinking age isn't stupid like here in the USA, but that is another story).
The point is, while I don't necessarily want it to be cloudy, cold and rainy all the time. I miss balance in the force LOL. It could have gone the other way round and I could have easily hated living in a place if there was just cold and no heat!
What do you guys think?
Either way I can't wait to move out of Florida when I graduate or at least get enough money
