I hate "guy" culture

I'm totally straight, but for the most part, I hate being around other guys. I especially despise the "bro" type guys who are obsessed with nothing but drinking beer, getting laid, talking about women in a disrespectful way, and basically doing stupid crap all the time. I totally prefer being around women. All my life I've had a very difficult time relating to other guys and have had very few guy friends.

    That makes two of us. I never liked fraternities, or male company. People are at their best when the M/F ratio is 1:1. Mixed company is the best kind.

    Yeah because liking those types of things are the only things "guys" do. I think you're talking about the so called "lad" culture, not the "guy" culture, and you don't get brownie points for doing the whole "Erhmergerd, all guys do is dis and dat and disrespect wimminz"...

    You don't like the type of guys like this? Don't mingle with them, then. There are so many men that don't do those things and even the "culture" you described here is fine excluding the being disrespectful to women part but I've figured out that when people say "disrespectful" to women and so on, they're basically exaggerating so many things to be seen as "disrespectful".

    If these are the only types of guys you've met then I think you're the problem here, not men. That said, if you prefer being around women then do that, nobody is forcing you to be around other men but please don't give the whole sexist "Ugh, guys, amirite!?" speech in an attempt to belittle guys and make yourself seem like a guy above the rest because you disrespect the rest of men in a sexist manner.

    It doesn't make you seem above the other guys it just makes you seem like a douche.

      "Guy culture" is such an inappropriate term for this behavior. Sounds more like frat culture. The majority of guys I know (even ones who say things like "pussy, money, weed" for funsies) would (and have) beat the shit out of a stranger for hitting a woman in front of them. If anything, most dudes are fairly chivalrous and down to earth. Otherwise, we'd have an actual,credible feminist movement and society would fall to pieces =/

    Dafuq does beer drinking have to do with douchey guys?! Craft beer is amazing and delicious. Don't ever insult craft beer by grouping him together with Budd, Pabst, and Miller. Those guys are tasteless cunts that only want to party. Stone, although he is an arrogant bastard, is great company and is a great addition to any metaphysical conversation.

        To each their own. I can't bring myself to drink lagers . . . Too flavorless. Can't even pit them in food because they're so flavorless. They're a waste of calories.

    Face it! You are just might be an idiot! All guys are not gay, but that does not mean they can't hang together and talk about what is intersting to them, usually women.
    Some of my best friends are gay, and a couple of lesbians too. I'm sure you have not experienced much in your life. Relax and learn to enjoy all people, whatever they are.

    I hate immature frat boys too. That might be why Ive only ever dated guys way older than me, over 30 because I don't have patience for drunken losers hanging out at strip clubs and playing video games. That is not a man, that is a 25 year-old little brat.
