I hate fans who act like they're the first to do something.

Being an internet nerd who is very social on the internet but not really in rl, I tend to find out earlier than most ppl in my school about new kinds of music, books, or etc. I dont like to be the same as those bubbleheaded idiots who go with all the tiny trends and sing mainstream music everyday, so I usually say nothing of it cept to my best friend. So like when the twilight movie started getting popular, fangirls would be reading the books and acting like they're all that when I had read all 4 so long ago.. I, for some reason hated that. Same with the beiber mania (no im not obsessed with tht guy).

Same here. It's annoying. I like enjoying things before they get popular and overused

Completely normal. You like the story, they like the boys. Those people are posers, it's only natural in humans. The people who first like something always hate newcomers, it's sort of like intimidation. In this situation, you can only prove to yourself, and few others around you that you became a fan before them. It's really pointless in arguing about who became a fan first. Personally, I think you should just not care about something so stupid like this. Maybe concentrate on something worth more, so you can prove it in there face and laugh, like academics or sports.

So long as you don't start wearing funky glasses and hideously tight jeans, I'm cool with that.

I found a band called skillet (amazing) and showed it to one of my friends but he didn't really like them till like two years later when another one of my close friends (his girlfriend) told him about them and he loved it, started learning to play their songs, bought all of there songs and even when they broke up he loved them. Next thing I knew half of the school loved them and it kinda pissed me off:/

I know. I hate when people like something and it gets popular and I'm just thinking "I already liked that..."
