I hate nothing more than people who say "OMG we need to save our Environment it's so precious." That don't seem to realize that all things end eventually no matter how hard you try to keep them going. It's the same for the environment. We could be focusing on more important issues such as poverty and diseases. Anybody share my views?
no, what makes me mad is when people obsess over saving the environment, then don't do anything to help. so annoying
Some people are annoying like that and take it too far because their lives are so shit they need to make themselves feel and look important...however i do feel we need to take better care of the environment as things like major oil spills, polluting rivers cutting down the amazon is worth protesting about as those things kills thousands of living things.
Looking at this...I laughed for ages at how a bunch of idealistic retards took the moral highground while refusing to beilieve that the inevitable is inevitable whilst damning someone who actually had a good point.
Comments like these not only point to a deep selfishness but an ignorance beyond fathoming. You make the fallacious claim the 'things will end eventually' without thinking about HOW such an end could come about. It most certainly isn't fated the the Earth and all of the organisms on it should die due to the primary, secondary and tertiary effects of pollution and the overuse of nonrenewable resources. Using weak assumptions and colloquialisms to describe a dreadfully complex issue is why people like you aren't asked to make sure decisions.

Try to think about more then yourself right now. Think about your kids, and the kids they'll have. Saying nothing is gonna change so I'm not changing is like holding your hand in a fire. Sure it burns, and afte you take it out it's still gonna burn like a bitch. But eventually your hand will heal, once you pull your hand outta the flame.

well, it basics... if the earth was healthy, you wouldn't HAVE to worry about diseases and poverty and all other stupid problems we have on earth because...EVERYTHING comes down to how much the earth is used up. it's facts, it's not hard to get educated and to know what is being pushed from the media for mind-control. sheep.
There is certainly a cycle to life and death but I don't think you understand the concept of regeneration. Do you know how food grows? And I pretty sure you like breathing. I can only do so much to protect the stupid so please, sterilize yourself now.
We should try and be more careful try to keep damage down etc etc.Some people do take it to far.......and some creep me out a bit with how enthusiastic they are about it.
Some people go way too far. But we do need to take care of our planet or we won't have a world to live in.

Once upon a time people lived horrible lives in the Middle Ages. There was a lot of poverty and disease. We didn't pay much attention to the environment because we didn't know better and that's what made us sick!
So if we trash the planet and don't bother to care about the environment we will have LESS poverty and disease??

You're an idiot. Where do you think we would be without the environment and the planet? Where do you propose to live in a world without trees or clean water? If you feel like this, stop eating. Or better yet, breathing. You'll eventually die anyways.
You are forgetting that our changes to the environment may bring upon negative consequences for humanity. That is why people want to protect it. It is not just for the environment but for the survival of mankind.
Saving anything is futile actually. All things end. Trying to change the speed it ends at is a meaningless waste of time. The world is dying, so it dies end of story.
